Two primary bodies of work are found in my portfolio — landscapes and the Fowl Follies series. I have a myriad of un-categorical works as well.
Fowl Follies are inspired by Francisco de Goya’s Black Paintings. This series of charcoal drawings reflect my reaction to Goya’s work. I have spent years studying his works around the world, and in particular at the Museo del Prado, and have read much of what I could get my hands on about his life.
I draw en plein air; I paint in my studio. My collection of landscape works have been created in a variety of media: watercolor, charcoal, graphite, pastel, and oil on copper, aluminum, wood, and canvas.
